Jesus said some pretty outrageous things about prayer.
In John 14:13-14, Jesus said that because He now sits at the right hand of God the Father, “Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.”
This is exactly why Paul, on numerous occasions, instead of asking various churches to partner with him financially, he asked them to partner with him in prayer (Rom. 15:30, Phil. 1:19, Col. 4:3, 2 Thess. 3:1).
The cost of living in New York City is incredibly high, but more than anything, we’d love for you to partner with us in prayer, because it’s only going to be through prayer that we see God do a work in New York City for His glory.
WOULD YOU COMMIT TO PRAY FOR US EVERY DAY AT 10:02AM?
Every day at 10:02am, we pray through Luke 10:2, where Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” When our alarm goes off each day, we simply pray, “God, use me.”
Would you set a 10:02am alarm on your phone, and pray each day that God would use us to share the gospel, make disciples, start churches, and raise up leaders for His glory in New York City to the ends of the earth?
While you’re at it, we challenge you to pray, “God, here I am. Use me.” This simple call to prayer changed our lives, and we believe that it will change your life too.
